whoa! Heavy conversation! Spike made some really great points. I like how you referred back to their relationship before she became a slayer; the story has so many chapters that I tend to forget how it all started sometimes.
And this was cute:
“You were threatening.” She fixed a slight glare on him.

Thank you! Yeah, I try to bring up things sometimes to tie the beginning to the end, since this fic has just gotten so long. But Buffy did need to know at some point that Spike had killed someone for her. And I'm glad you liked that line! I stole the idea from Blood Ties, and Spike's line about "lurking/standing about." Thanks for reviewing!

Oh, tense chapter. Buffy says she's accepted his past and his nature... but I don't think she understands exactly what she's saying she's accepted, or what 'accepting' it means. Also nice that Buffy is reminded that vampires aren't the only bad guys out there. Anyhow, great chapter, I love it.
Yeah, Buffy has some thinking to do. I think on some level, no one who's not a vampire can actually understand what it's like to be one. She'd like to think that because he said he wouldn't kill, that that would be it, and she wouldn't have to deal with vampire things again. Thanks for reviewing!
