Thanks. I love first person, because in many ways it's the easiest and the hardest perspective to write, but it's much more interesting to get inside a characters head.
I'm glad you think i've been sensitive to Buffy as well. Her character can be so all over the place through each season, I often fear that I don't have a grasp on her.

Wonderful Spike self - dialogue. You really encapsulated what could have happened too these two wonderful characters. All without loosing sight of their "true" natures.
