I've just read this and thought, "This story doesn't have nearly enough reviews."
So, here's mine.

I really like what you're going for here. Cecily/Halfrek is a fascinating character and it's a tragedy that this was never explored in the show.
And Dawn's wish is very interesting. It could have happened just as well. I'm curious as to how this wish plays itself out. Unlike her wish in the show, it's a very complicated one and leaves room for interpretation.

Xander's reaction is pretty much expected. I know he's basically a good guy, good friend... But honestly, his reaction on hearing of the "relationship" between Spike and Buffy was hypocritical. Even worse his reaction after Anya and Spike had their one-night-stand... How dare he, who left that woman at the altarm reprimanding her for having some comfort. Buffy wasn't much better in that scene. It's unbelievable that was never truly mentioned in later episodes.

That's why I love this (all of your stories actually) so much.

Willow's reaction is very... nice is the wrong word... in character. She was the only character that made me smile a little (her reaction on Spike's lack of clothing ;) ).

Buffy... I'm afraid if I say anything about her right now, I'd use an impressive amount of profanity, so let's leave it at that.

I'm looking forward to finish reading this story (nice thing about completed fics).

I love your stories and am so pleased to see another one!  But geez what a nasty Buffy and Xander you wrote in this chapter.  It's a complment to your strong writing that at the moment I'd love to strangle them both!  Of course, I know you'll redeem them eventually--right?
