West of the Moon, East of the Sun by KnifeEdge 07/15/2010 05:11 pm Also, has everyone but me seen Spike shirtless? Loved this chapter, and that line was hilarious. I like how you're slowly building up the details and hints of Buffy's thoughts on problems with Riley, how she thinks of her mom and friends, and Spike. It's very natural, with no sudden epiphanies of Spike being absolutely perfect for her like in some fics. great job. I'm not really one for sudden epiphanies, unless they're warranted. This story isn't so much about epiphanies as it is about slow (very slow) reveals and peeling back layers. Glad you're enjoying it, so far. | |||
