Wow. Amazing job on this chapter. I cried in several places. Pitch perfect characterization and voice. And I think this really your tour de force chapter so far, the more so because you had to merge canon with Spike's thoughts and deeds that we saw so little of in this episode on the show. It was heartbreaking, intense and true. It could not be better. Again, brava.

Ooooh this was good. I loved hearing about Joyce from Spike's POV. I loved hearing him rip on Angel too. =-) Impatiently waiting for more.....
