This story is amazing. I particularly liked the part about Spike having black hair when he killed the Nazis, with their whole aryan thing, the bottle blonde with blue eyes would have been almost ideal, but in true Spike fashion, he's rocking dark hair. Ive been reading from the beginning, and even though it slowed the story down, I really enjoyed part II and reading it all from Spike's side - part of the journey, you know? Also, I'd always wondered about Spike's body count, nice work there :)

The research was well worth it! What a great chapter. It was just magic. Brilliant job with Nikki's character and voice. And now I'm thirsty for more!

LOVED LOVED LOVED this chapter. Took my breath away. I love Buffy riding the subway with Nikki and her seeing some of the things that Spike has done. It's wonderful that you don't try and sugar coat the story and that you take the time to show the characters for what they really are.
