Thank you! I had actually started writing the conversation with something different in mind for Xander's reaction, but I try to have the characters in my head while I write, and this felt more natural.

Thank you again! I'll be posting one more chapter tonight, once I'm done replying to reviews. This story is almost over...

  Looked up  Mathew and the Mermaid.. and him singing to her and how the fishermen knew when not to go out to sea.
