I've always disliked season 6 Buffy, but thanks to the growth she is showing here I really like her. Making choices that won't hurt Spike. However, as always, Spike is risking serious hurt and heartbreak in order to do good by Buffy. Oh how I hope that the end of the 7 days heralds in the start of a mature relationship between them based on friendship and mutual respect,.
