Really enjoyed this chapter.  I love the way that things are developing gradually between Buffy & Spike.  It's like they're taking all these side-long glances at each other, and pretty soon their eyes are going to meet...

Especially enjoyed the Spike/Slod fight, and the use of the sonnets at the end.

 

I  can't believe you updated on my birthday, It's my best prezzie yet, so chuffed my heart has grown a bulge in it. My kids taking me to Stratford on Saturday to see David Tennant in Much Ado,  I am truly blessed.
This was a brill chapter, a lot of angst but finally Buffy's speaking from the heart, definately worth waiting for. They may have moved one step back in the last chapter, but they've come on in leaps and bounds in this. Really love how Spikes' relationship with the baby Slayers is developing, I'm all for the Spuffy but I'm enjoying your O.C's almost as much. It was also good to see the Slod get a bit of poetic justice.
Can't wait for more, thanks for the prezzie. 

That was just beautiful, and so very poignant at the end of the chapter.Spike is one of a kind isn't he? Poor Buffy, true to type, remains after all this time verbally challenged::))         Lovely update, the fighting was brilliant, and very insightful on Spike's part.        Beautiful poetry choices, so much emotion conveyed in rhyming sentences. It was lovely.

OMG I can't begin to tell you how good this chapter is. So, not gonna try. Just - I loved it. Totally.
