It's so hard for everyone to listen isn't it?  Dawn's talking and Giles can't hear her...  Buffy just wants to be free to live, but no one's EVER heard that...  Spike would love to be heard but only by Buffy, who doesn't want to know...  Willow listens to no one!

Can I just say that I disagree that you don't deserve any kindness?  Cuz you do!  I love this story.  The selfish fangirl in me wants more story now!  But then I realize that you are human, and you have a life that does not include fanfic.  Don't be so hard on yourself.  Whatever's going on IRL needs to take precedence.  So do what you gotta do, cuz we'll be waiting here when you're able to come back. ;)

Nice to see a post from you again. Anything you write is usually good and this is no exception. I loved the Origin Trilogy and I love these short stories. Never change your style, it is loved by me.
