Poor Joyce all her hopes and dreams going up in smoke. Still she could do worse than have Spike for a son in law. Great update.
I love introspective Buffy!!! You did a brilliant job of going through all her issues and concerns!! This chapter was wonderful in that it shows that Buffy is actually having time to think about what she wants and needs for a change rather than her what her friends want. It was also lovely seeing Anya and Tare thinking about Spike before the fight and Joyce's conversation with them. A lot of the time it seemed on the show that everyone forgot about Anya's experiences - seriously that girl is a fount of knowledge!! I'm really looking forward to the showdown so pretty please let us have the next chapter soon!! :D
I figured Anya would be the more practical of the group. So she would think that Spike might need blood before the fight. I'll be better about posting last week was a bit of a mess for me. I wasn't feeling well so posting got put on hold. The story is done and only a few chapters left though. I hope you like it!
