I will freely admit that I have skipped over the torturous chapters because I don't think I could handle them based on the parts I've seen in other chapters. This is a very emotion filled and deeply dramatic story. You are writing it very well. Hopefully the torture parts are over now, and I will be able to read every chapter instead of skimming.

Whew, so he's out. And now he has to deal with what Warren did to him. I'm really curious to see how is recovery will take place. And still very curious to when the Spuffy relationship will come to light for the others. Very, very curious. Very good story. Very good update. Can't wait to see where it goes now.

You know, *maybe overshare, feel free to delete or overlook* having been in the shoes that Spike is wearing now, you have captured the abused role excellently. that obscene repeating mental loop that tells you it is your fault and you did this to yourself...this was hard for me to read when the abusive parts first started, but i must tell you, you have done this delicately and with grace, and i appreciate it...this was the only time that i started to give up on buffy, and perhaps why i like to rewrite season 6 as much as i do, and you have done an excellent job of changing her attitude and foibles into something workable as a plot device...truly something i didn't think could be done.
