Very exciting. This way they have a little more time for the ritual, if he's out hunting for Spike and not going down stairs to finish his plans. Senior Partners maybe messing with him but he still has to own the fact that he's capable of it in the first place. Fabulous chapter.

A couple of great lines in this chapter.
"Well bake me, frost me, and top me with a cherry! The divine Miss C is returned to hearth and home"
This cracked me up. That was just so Lorne. I love Lorne.
And, quite possibly one of the best lines I've read in fanfiction ;)
"A stake’ll fix him whether he’s an ‘el’ or an ‘us’"
::sighs:: so true. Got love Spike's logic. This line had me chuckling like a hyena lol

You're making me blush now! Lorne is awesome to read, watch and write. I swear, I hear his voice in my head and when I do I know I'm somewhere near the mark. I'm thrilled you like the "el or an us" line - I squealed when that one came to me, because it's true, isn't it? Thank you so very much for your continuing support.

Hmm these PTB need to get their shit together and cut their losses. Don't see the reason for saving his ass, he made his choice now he must pay the piper.
Yeah, but don't forget the Powers are often cruel and unfeeling and work in mysterious ways. I hear you though, it does irk. Thanks for reading. :)

Technically good, like the rest of the story, but you've lost me completely. Angel brought all of this on himself, again, and now he's getting another unearned get out of jail free card? AGAIN? For the 3rd or 4th (or is it 5th) time? Seems that Powers just means Powerfully Stupid.

I'm worried now. The Scoobies and the Angel team don't seem to get it that they don't have so much time now. Angel knows about them and is ready to have his mystics or demons or whatever kill Spike soon. I don't see why the PTB think they have to save Angelus again. It's getting tiresome. More story please.
Well the PTB are laws unto themselves. Not sure myself what Angel has that keeps getting him off the hook - but my muse wants it that way so who am I to argue? Next chapter with Lou so will be up as soon as it comes back. Thanks.
