Beautiful! I love how your summed up the holiday period. Dawn was her usual over-excited self and I thought both Buffy and Willow were spot on characterization wise. Excellent work!

Very touching and sad fic. Would be nice to see a sequel for this one that shows what happened in a good way when Spike got back after this ficlet's timeline. Nice work.

Oh, you had to choose that song! Just the song itself makes me cry with the memories it evokes...but now, there are fake/fictional memories to go with it...poor Spike...poor Buffy...everyone needs to be with someone they love at Christmas...good little Christmas ficcie, thank you for sharing....
Thanks! A bit of seasonal melancholy and that song does the same to me...toss it in with where Spike was in Dec of S7 and voila! I would have hoped they connected in some way and poor Spike needed and deserved the solace.
