Why was Spike able to take down Xander so easily with the chip intact? Was it because of the demon infestation? Really enjoying this tale!
So glad you are enjoying the story. Hope the reason is clear in time but that is an interesting idea....I'd bet the demon in Xander WOULD have made him fair game for chipped Spike.

Hyena Xander-not much with the goodness.But I loved the rescue.And the undusty end,of course;)
That always bothered me...how no one ever brought that up again even when they were all angry with Spike later! Xander could blame a demon...so could Spike! I liked dealing with that episode a lot.

This story is really great. I read all of the chapters at once. I can't wait for more. I love the younger version of Buffy. Of course, Spike is always of the good. Can't wait for the next chapter
