Why does Spike still have a chip? Sure he'd not going to kill any one but what if Xander or Giles hit him and he can't do anything back?
Why do people claiming to be Spike fans prefer to make him less of a man when they have the opportunity to fix it?

I AM a Spike fan and I don't want him less of a man (I don't see him as less of a man for that matter....he is formadible even with the chip and I wouldn't have him any other way). He has the chip because it allows access to Buffy and her world....when she reaches the point of accepting the changes are NOT the chip but Spike, he would chance removing it. He is love's bitch and will make sacrifices to stay close. As I said, he is not less of a man in any way. He is still a powerful fighter and if Giles or Xander hit him he'd accept the pain to retaliate.
Besides.....there are plenty of ways he would have KILLED the lot of them without the chip firing at all if he wanted to. Spike is not stupid and knew that. Besides hiring a group along the lines of the Order of Taraka he could have simply set fire to Giles' apartment or Buffy's home or something along those lines to name just two.
The chip does not make him less of a force to be reckoned with it merely lets them permit him close without grabbing a stake.

good way to get rid of angel...lol...but i have a feeling that spike's gonna end up regretting hiding things from her when giles manages to dig up the truth :(

{chuckles} Interesting how she found out about Angel. I wanted to kick Angel in the dangly bits when she says I have a boyfriend and he still tries to put the moves on her.
I always thought it showed how little control Angel had on the demon that all it took was kissing Buffy to go all game faced!
I think Angel WOULD have still kissed her if she had said she had a guy! He felt she was his reward and destiny.

Sitting on the edge of my seat biting my nails! I know that they will find out Spike is a vamp and darn am I all nervous for him. LOL MORE MORE! Ok I will be good and sit quietly in my corner while I wait like a good girl for the next update. I swear! Fantabulous update and thanks for sending me your email addy so I can do that nomming thing.

interesting twist. and what a wanker. I can't believe (no wait, actually i CAN believe) that buffy TOLD him she had a boyfriend and she didn't cheat and he still kissed her. she said NO. god i hate him, i hope he dies soon.
Let me guess, you aren't a Bangel shipper *G*. Angel will be out of the picture by the end but is not even in the picture for this Buffy at all.

Bad girl Kathleen got sidetracked reading Hell Is In The Details by Spikes_heart and didn't get that other one to my Beta quick enough but it should be up later today. I am trying to get at least one a day until done.....definitely will be done by this week. Thanks. K
