Spike should have killed him. I don't care you who are you don't fucking tell another man your trying to fuck the girl he's just got out of bed with.
For a second i thought you hated Spike by having him get his ass dumped in the mud. Was going to flame you big time for that. People always seem to put Spike's fighting skills down, even you did in the beggining of this story. Buffy some how "forgot" she'd be dead if it wasn't for her mother.
Seriously... that asshole deserved to die. Hope he still does. His attitude is annoying and he just seems like an all around dick.

yeah, a lot of good that decision does him if she catches him later...just an excuse, spike..*sigh*...great chapter though :)

Fantastic chapter! I loved the confrontation between Spike and Jeremiah. Spike got so jealous! And Jeremiah is such a gentleman. *sigh*

Like the story and I wish you had more reviews!!! Nice story telling and original. I just hope that it doesn't get any darker and Spike comes to his senses before he loses the girl before he even gets her!
I wish I had more reviews, too. heh. Well, I can't really say whether it'll get darker but it's definately not going to get any easier.

I like Jeramiah, although I still don't have him figured out. Friend or fough. You have left him very ambiguous. Great OC.
Thank you, I find myself liking him too. I wanted a friendly OC that you couldn't quite work out what his motives were (if he has any) and that you sort of like, despite wanting Spike and Buffy together.

Oh, don't worry, that's how I am too. It's strange, cos you want Buffy to know but you also don't want Spike to get slayed. What a dilemma.

I just read all the story up to now. I like it very much. It´s different from the others. With a scarred Buffy and a Spike that still kills. (Hopefully he´ll stop soon) I´m very curious of who this Jeremiah is... Please update soon.
Thanks for reading and reviewing. I was kind of hoping to be a bit different :P I like the idea of an emotionally vulnerable Buffy and Spike who takes advantage of it...then starts to feel guilty.

HMMMMM? I see some very possesive thoughts from Spike (yes, I know I am stating the obvious). He obviously feels more than he is letting on. I like where the story is turning and can't wait for more!

Jeremiah is kind of the ambiguous stranger. You can't really pin him down.

It was jeremiah! Phew! I was suspecting Angel or someone equally undesirable. That was good, and it made Spike jealous *lol* good sign! Love the update, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. ~Nina
