oh this is heartbreaking...so very sad and sweet...poor spike, he must be so confused...i'm glad giles is being kind to him, after everything that's happened...can't wait to see their reunion :)
I choose to write Giles, and all the characters really, as more introspective than they were on the show. I hope they ring true for you.

Very happy that Lydia took Giles' threat to heart. Wow! Buffy kept the duster and wears it, at least Giles had some good news. Love this story.
That often happens when you love someone but can't admit it. You tend to keep the stuff they leave behind. :)

hope this isn't the last we see of Panya, really like the guy. If Buffy is going to Africa Dawn istoo i mean with Tara, WQillow and Xander gone who'll watch her? oh and how is Anya dealing with Xander's death?
Dawn's not going. She has "issues" to work out for herself, by herself. Dawn does have a father, and an Aunt Darlene. Remember her, from "Pangs?" Dawn may choose to stay with either of them.

Hello great story. Very wel written. I am enjoying a dead Xander. Although, I wish he had died before he told Dawn about what happened between Spike and Buffy.
Question what about Dawn? With Tara and xander dead, willow and Giles gone who will watch over her if Buffy were to leave to go to Africa?

Dawn does have a father, remember? Last known whereabouts were Spain, I believe. There is no way Dawn is going to Africa!

I hope Lydia really took Giles serious, by the sound of her telegram she did. Loved the Willie and Buffy exchange. He wouldn't be him if he wasn't at least a little scummy acting. I can completely understand Buffy's anger at Willow, and I loved her thoughts when she compared Willow's actions and Spike's actions. For all of Spike's love of action and his inpatients, he had a tremendous amount of self-control, particularly when it came to someone he loved. Willow on the other hand is a control freak, with very little self-control. She has often done damage to those she loved, when she was in pain, because of this. Thanks for the great update, I did a little happy dance when I saw it. :D
Aww, you did a happy dance? That's nice that you like this story so much. I always thought that Willow was more dangerous than Spike.

I like this version of Buffy, I couldn't agree more with her opinions about Spike and Willow's actions. I was pleasantly surprised that Lydia actually kept her mouth shut, but I still don't trust her. I'm so glad Buffy's on her way to Africa, i'm really looking forward to her reunion with Spike. Great chapter!
Maybe she did...maybe she didn't. Read and find out!

Hmm so what is this all about? I keep forgetting stuff as I read a new chapter. Like what was the prophecy that was to be fullfilled with Spike getting his soul? Damn I probably need to go back and re read the other chapters.....the horror....the horror :)
It shouldn't be too difficult, SpaceLord. It's only one timeline and only five chapters so far. So what's to be confused about? ;-)

Good story and chapter.I can see Buffy wanting revenge for Xander's death.Do you watch "How I Met Your Mother" or "Bones"? Update soon.
I just figured this was a better and maybe a truer reaction than they showed in cannon. Willow killed people, no one's going to be even a *little* put out by that? The updates are coming. And, I am soo loyal to the Jossverse alum. "Prof. Fine" has my first loyalty, but I do watch "Bones" from time to time. Is it just me, or do you expect "Booth" to break out in fangs, too? ;-)
