This chapter made me literally feel sick with both worry for Spike and his family, the horror of what is being done to him, and the evilness of Quentin. Ripping out his fangs and torturing him is horrible but to add the threat against his family is beyond the pale. Thanks for the update, I love reading your stories because of how well you are able to draw me in and have me react to what is happening with the characters.

They pulled his fangs?????!! Oh god...they'll grow back, but it's not a quick thing. And now Quentin wants him to kill his family? He won't do it. He'd die first. That's what Quentin doesn't get.

I find this guilt about killing humans to be extremly boring and not very bevlievable at all really. I'm of the firm belief that most people would have very little trouble killing another human being given the right circumstances and feel very little guilt about it. I would say that those who wouldn't are more exceptions to the rule than not. I can understand that souled Angel and Spike might feel bad about taking pleasure in torturing people and such but to kill to save one self I just think is rather pathetic.

OOOOOOOOH! I hate Travers. You play his evil so well. Grrr.

Poor Spike! Things are so bleak right now, I could cry. I can see why you had such a hard time writing this chapter. *sends you a big hug* But you did an excellent job of showing us just how much of a monster Quentin really is.
