This chapter should have had a tissue warning as well. I love how Buffy realized that she and Spike needed contact and I loved how it was phrased ‘pure and healing’. What a beautiful definition of love. By doing what is so hard for her and letting down all barriers while reaching out for Spike she managed to help him also reach her.

Yay! Spike is communicating again, and what a clever way to make it happen. The fact that love and some sweet kisses was all it took for Buffy to reach Spike really touched my heart. I'm really looking forward to Giles's return, I enjoyed the intense flashback. Excellent chapter! :)
