oh that's so sad...angelus and dru killed his family, didn't they? so very sad...and i hope he's right about the way to kill the thing...
They are dead. But not by Dru or Angel. Dru was more obsessed by William than even *she* knew. Remember how loyal Spike is? :) It might help.

It looks like Spike has figured out a way to fight the demon. The memory of William and his little sister was so sweet and it shows how natural his caring, giving nature is.
William's memories may have shaped more of who Spike is than he's even aware of. Maybe there's more of William holding sway with Spike than we thought? :)

VERY interesting. Now, is that a real memory? Or one manufactured by the Ukesolrill to create an emotional response?
Real or imagined...Hmm, I think Emma's been mentioned before. You tell me. But, does it really matter? He still gets emotional, and that could be bad for everyone.

No one writes very much about his family other than his mother of course, Wonder why he's remembering her? To help as he hides? Glad Dawn understands his need for quite, while we all wait. Another great chapter, thank you so much for it. You can't update soon enough for me. Love it.
Maybe he's trying to..."short-circut" the thing that has him trapped? :)

I liked Dawn's scene with Spike, i'm glad she got a chance to tell Spike how she feels. Looks like Spike has a plan, if he's feeling that good about it then so am I. The interaction between Spike and Emma in the flashback was wonderful, and Dru showing up was really a surprise. I'm really enjoying how you're fleshing out William's past. Loved the chapter!
It may be a little scary for a while...but please trust the story, and this authour's love for the couple. I think you will be surprised.

What an idea...to have Dru seeing young William that far back and knowing he would be hers...and Angelus even let her give the doll back...very interesting.
That scene with his little sister was so sweet and tender. She must have looked on him as her brave protector. Dawn's innocent faith in him must have brought that all back, when he met her.

I always thought the brotherly protectivness of Sawn wasn't a new idea to Spike. And, the fact that Willow killed Xander will come into play in the next few chapters; so watch for it.
