When trying to help Spike with the Ukesolrill I have a funny feeling the Buffy is going to have to take a good look at what is in her as well. She has shown the traits attributed to it several times, most notably the one that she was thinking of.

i started reading this story for the first time a couple of hours ago and im hooked.....i cant believe what a bloody marvellous story this is.......just fantastic....i couldnt stop reading......hehe.....im anxiously awaiting the next chapter.....keep up the good work

great read, thank you. interesting that the ukesolrill sense so much power in spike. buffy should have some help when she enters the battle.
She should...if she's able to tell the difference between the mask and the one buried beneath it.

The incantation was really intriguing, especially the part about the forces of light purifying the unclean vessel. Actually getting the chance to read the Ukesolrill's POV was also very interesting. I loved the fact that Buffy found Spike, and got the chance to see the beautiful colors of Spike and William's souls. Wonderful chapter!
Travers may have called something forth that he wasn't intending to. :)

Oh, Go, Buffy, Go! I love the imagery of Spike and William. I'm glad that Buffy and Willow got a chance to see it.
Spike and William have a sybiotic relationship, much like the baddie here. Be true to what you really are...and you may be able to free yourself from any prison. :)

Interesting idea, Buffy, but probably a bit too simple.
Love the description of Spike's insides...white and blue...yeah...
I actually feel a bit sorry for the Ukesolrill, at least with what happened to it originally. The spell calls it a warrior...from human eyes, it might be viewed as evil, but that doesn't mean it was inherently so. It was a predator, and could have been quite primitive.
But the situation sucks.
