Great Story - just loved reading this - terrific work - please, please, please hurry and give us your next chapter. Love your sections in Africa and that lovely young man you created.

I am especially enjoying this as I just watched (while working on a painting) some of the early Spike episodes - seeing even the contrast and continuity of Spike's transformation works makes reading this piece even better.
Thank you! Bit of writer's block, but the next chapter should be up soon.

I always saw the softie under Spike. "Big Bad?" :D Yeah, keep saying that, Spike. Maybe we'll believe you...:)

This is going to be interesting. I am really looking forward to what is going to happen between Buffy and the Ukesolrill. I have really enjoyed catching up on the updates, thanks for such a great read.

Yikes! Poor Spike, i'm glad we know he's still in there even if he is very weak at the moment. I wonder if Travers is rolling over in his grave over this development? I'm thinking this isn't quite what he had in mind. I enjoyed Giles' flashback and the emotion it brought forth in him. Fantastic chapter!
As the story goes, "watch" the eyes. You know the saying,"the eyes are the windows to the soul?" Remember what color I said Spike's aura was? Well... what color are the actor's eyes again?

Thanks for getting this updated. Can't wait for them to have a go of it. Guess I don't have to wait anymore. Thanks for the flash back, helps me to remember that this Giles was his friend. Still want for Giles to know he's more than that. Hope you can update soon rather than later. Great chapter, wonderful read, thanks.
Slayer and Buffy are going to have a nice little chat. Hopefully Buffy will be seen as "family" and therefore will not be harmed.

And the Ukesolrill has reached consciousness. Time for Slayer against Slayer...and that answers the question of whether the fangs had grown back, yet. I imagine the roar might have in part been from the shift into game face again? It's first bit of pain to feel in how many centuries?
It should be a smackdown...or will it? It should be interesting, to say the least. :)
