I thought it cute that Willow and Dawn realized what Spike would need but that it had to be a bit more explained to Giles before he understood. I like that it was Buffy telling Spike that Dawn was there that helped him break through and realize that Buffy was really there with him. The ending and him asking for knickers made me laugh.
The obvious? Not a Giles thing. As for the closing line...? I can't be sour and doom and gloom all the time. Glad you enjoyed it.

yay! Its great to see Spike doing better, even if I fear it's only for now.

Awww... This update was so wonderfully upbeat. I loved the Spuffy interaction, and I really enjoyed Willow's musings. The lighthearted ending was absolutely wonderful, it really made me smile. Fantastic chapter! :)
I can't be dark *all* the time. I try but- it's just not me...or my Spike- like muse for that matter. We all know that, or we wouldn't be frequenting this site. Right? :)

It's so wonderful to have him back. He's holding Buffy and Giles shoot Travers for him, so much to deal with but at least he has Buffy back again. Wonderful chapter, thanks for the update

I think his rescuers, and Buffy, were focused on other things at the time.
I *know* that if Buffy had sensed Spike, rather than the Ukesolrill, when she went into that room, her reaction might have been different. What do you think...? :)
