Giles really did a great job in reaching the Ukesolrill and I like how he went about doing it, helping him find some rest.
I'm glad he used his brains. If he'd used his fists Giles might have gotten hurt.

well done, thank you should have known travers would not understand what he was dealing the entity he was subverting.
People on power rarely do...

wow....go giles :)...i wouldn't have thought it would be that easy...would have thought the thing was more malevolent than that, at heart...but apparently not...unless you have more surprises up your sleeve for us... :P kinda hope not, though...kinda hope spike gets the chance to recover now :)
It's all about power. The Ukesolrill, re: Slayer, never really had any. It was just a servant. A servant that was being used by its masters and abused. But now that there's a new man in town, all that's gonna change. :)

Wow! what a surprise to find the Ukeslorill so sensitive and easily hurt by what the Council had done to it. So Giles knows who Spike is to him, fantastic! maybe now he will approve of any relationship that Spike and Buffy have. Spike's soul will hopefully now be more at peace at this next entering. Looks like there maybe a happy ending after all, Three slightly broken souls can now build on a better foundation. Great read for this fantastic story, thanks.
The Ukesolrill was nothing more than the Council's slave. It is also a sentient entity, and wants to survive. Being placed inside the thing it's designed to kill is a sure death sentence. I think it has a right to be hurt. Thanks for reading.

Oh, excellent...I knew there was a reason you wanted us to have a bit of sympathy for the Ukesolrill. Just another being used and abused by the old Council. I'm very interested in what this will mean for Buffy and Faith...though I'm also thinking this just means it is, as before, that it will rest until Buffy and Faith are both dead, and a new Slayer is needed...as things had always been.

And Spike does need quite a bit of rest. Finally, though, his soul can begin to stabilize in accordance with all the memories and feelings...and he can be himself, with everyone that cares right here.
You're just too smart for me. :) And you're right, Spike needs to sleep for a week and a whole heap of tlc. :)

Wonderful chapter! I really like the way you resolved this and look forward to seeing what happens when Spike awakes. Thanks!
Time to be with family, perhaps. :)

I really enjoyed Giles's confrontation with the Ukesolrill. I'm glad everything went so well. Can't wait for Spike to wake up. Wonderful chapter! :)
It went well because Giles realized he was the one with the power. Glad you liked it.

Very fitting that Giles should be so pivotal in Spike's battle. Brilliant.
He is Spike's kin, after all. It just made sense.
