baby steps and I am so happy to see it. I am at least glad that they got this small time together before the rest of the world showed up. And Buffy is taking the hints and backing off. Maybe they both learned some hard lessons here.

Yay - an update! :) Another nice chapter to go between "bind the slayer" and "deal with the scoobies." I liked how you dealt with Buffy - she's learning.

Why do I have a bad feeling about Giles' important meeting????? Oh do I want Buffy to do a smack down on him, Willow and any other mouthy scooby....
Excellent chapter, believable and touching. Far more realistic than instant Spuffy sex after all that happened. Well done!

I'm glad you had Spike refusing her advances, you're showing just how shattered he is and that it will take more then a few hours for him to cope again with a intimate relationship with her. He needs her for physical closeness but not intimacy. Fantastic read, thanks.
well, there's no way in the world that he'd be ready to just go to bed with her, a day after her body basically raped him, and tortured him for hours...*so* not happening...
