Wow! two fantastic conversations. Dawn really does have big thoughts, doesn't she? and love it that Spike still can use his sense of humour to drive a point home. This is irony for you, just watched an episode of "Supernatural" were Amber Benson(Tara) was part of a group of vamps that refused to kill humans and lived on cows blood. Kinda freaky. Just love where you continue to take this, thanks.
Glad you like the story. I saw that "supernatural" ep too. I think the big wigs over at the WB/CW were feeling kinda guilty for cancelling our shows. I mean- demon hunters... in a big, black car? :P

very good read, thank you. when i mention giles and shades of grey, i did not realize he would need spike to tell him how to resolve the problem. and next chapter we hear red's answer to dawn's question?

Maybe...or maybe he saw the potential for a few easy snacks. e.g. groupies. If that's the case, why kill a meal ticket. :)

As always the flashback the was awesome. Loved Giles and Spike's heart to heart, it was so good to see the two opening up to each other and talking so honestly.
Dawn's conversation with Willow was also great, I enjoyed reading Dawn's musings.
LOL... Spike's Billy Idol tale was a nice touch. Wonderful chapter!

I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter so much. I had to mention Billy somewhere, it seemed right that Spike would use it to break the tension a little. Now they all have to get to know one another again.

Thank you so much! And, I think my head is still head- sized. I can still fit through my door so...:) As for Billy...what can I say? I'm an "Idol Worshipper" from back in the day, and proud of it!:D

The conversation between Giles and Spike becomes more and more enlightening. The flash-back really showed how much Spike still cared for his family. I liked how Spike called Giles on the attitude he was showing towards his grandmother and they discussed how her death affected both of them. I loved how Spike urged Giles to continue doing his job, that he was counting on him. Thanks so much for the update, I really enjoyed it.
William has always been a family type. Glad you enjoyed the chapter

Good chapter.Update soon.I love Uncle!Spike telling a story.What I meant was that Spike knows that Giles knows now.
It should be fun watching them get to know each other.
