OK, you got me, it can only be Xander since it's a man and you had me thinking for a while that it was about Buffy, but he called Spike a thing, so this is about Anya and Xander with his dark eyes. Very excited to start this fic. Thanks DOS. This is the first new story I've started since I've been back.

had to reread, to try to eliminate the possibilities. don't recall xander ever beating spike, so i'm quessing it is my next least favorite person, riley. not that xander is at the top of the list, angel and giles have those spots. the conversation and the gun seem to rule them out. ok, i have my quess and i have not told you what fantastic opening this was. thank you for the excellent read.
well, xander still qualifies, depending on your interpretation of "beating" -- if you count the incident outside the magic box at the end of entropy...xander still qualifies...not that i'm saying it's xander, i'm not doing the big reveal so early... :)...but it still *could* be.. :) thanx so much for the review, i take it as a compliment that i was able to get more than a couple of lines out of ya ;) lol

Xander or Riley? My guess is Xander. I really love your writing. Your site rocks. You write beautiful spara. Oh, and Bond is back but guess the gunman doesn't know that considering he's still in 2002.

Okay, this is one of the few stories that has left me figuratively pulling my hair out cause I'm so anxious for the next chapter. You really need to update soon. Also I'm thinking Xander for the shooter....maybe. I mean I think he could get that dark. So yeah, for now my tentative guess is Xander.
i will be updating soon, love, promise...not telling as to who the shooter is..more clues soon... :)

Okay, at first I thought this was Angel, but now after re-reading, I think maybe it's Xander--all pissed off about Anya and probably about Buffy, too. Am I right? Guess we'll see. Anyway, really glad you started another story--always enjoy your work!

Great beginning. My first thought was that it was Xander...then Riley...now the thought..could it be Angel? The "taken from *You* line has me thinking that way. But then why the gun...OMG...you have me hooked once again and on pins and needles! I've never reviewed your stories before, but have to let you know what a wonderful author you are and how much I've enjoyed all the stories you've written! Update soon please :)

GASP! Wooooo great start (I'll withhold all puns about starting with a bang). My mind is racing....I'm torn...it could be Xander but it could also easily be Riley returned to finish what he tried to start a few weeks before......hum.....

*sigh* Damn you for writing so well that I have to sit through Spike torture to read your stories. I hate Spike torture. I read all of Blood Bound and Trusting You, but I never could bring myself to review because, though I loved the storylines and couldn't wait to read updates, it always came with the dread of seeing Spike suffer. Some situations seemed very excessive, and I've never been the type to flame anyone, or even give criticism. But I'm reviewing now, simply to say that I really do enjoy your stories, and think that you are extremely talented and I look forward to reading more of this fic. I just may not always review the updates...
hey, i have no problem with you saying exactly what you think...there is a difference in flaming someone and giving them genuine, thoughtful criticism, and personally, i dont mind concrit a bit...i hope you enjoy this story (which really shouldn't be nearly as extreme as some of my others)
