Ah - Angry Slayer - somebody's (still wondering who it is...) gonna be real sorry. Poor Spike - at least his physical torment is over.

What a powerful, emotionally wrenching chapter. So glad that no matter how upset Buffy has been with Spike, she is not about to let whoever did this to him get away with it. I haven't a clue as to who has captured and tortured Spike, but I'm looking forward to the slow and painful death that I have no doubr Buffy will be dealing out to whomever is the guilty party. I'm really anxious to see how Buffy is going to deal with a Spike who is so horribly ill and may well be so for some time. I think it will be interesting to see how Buffy copes with this situation.

Leave it to Buffy not to realize what Spike means to her until she sees him injured 100 times worse than when Glory tortured him, broken and emaciated like an Auschwitz victime. Buffy has many wonderful qualities, but self-aware is not one of them. Can't wait for her to put the smack down on the culprit.

Spike's abuse didn't stop once Buffy found him, did it? I mean the shooter is either Riley or Xander and they can both act like they are helping Buffy but then continue to psychologicly abuse him whenever they can. And I really wonder Dawn's and Anya's reactions. I mean since he is in a very bad condition he will need all help he can get, and who is better help than a vengence deamon with healing spells. OK I admit I like when Anya takes Spike's side and help him... :)

Poor Spike. So confused, and lost. I HATE who ever did this to him. Can't wait to find out and Buffy to lay the bet down upon them. OH, I hope Spike is able to lay the smack down on them too. Can't wait for more. I hope you write over the holiday, but not expecting it,lol.

Oh, thank goodness. I'm so glad there wasn't going to be any more chapters of Spike not being found. And Buffy's heartfelt reaction to his condition is definitely encouraging. I hope that the healing can soon begin. Great chapter! Can't wait for more.

I'm glad Buffy has found him and is going to take him out of that lair of torture. i wonder where she's going to take him and what Dawn's reaction will be to seeing him. Xander had better hope that Buffy never learns he was responsible for Spike's condition because I think he would be in for a world of hurt. It's telling that Spike believes, on an almost instinctual level, that Buffy will eventually hurt him, and yet he still wants to be with her and find ways to please her. Hopefully she can find some way to put his worries to rest and show that she really does care.

Given the two choices...I think I'd choose that too. Good chapter. :)

Poor dear Spike....always a slave to Buffy no matter his memory or condiiton. Thank God she might just be a worthy "mistress" this time! Can't wait to see how this unfolds. Buffy caring for Spike, trying to heal him and letting herself love him......the monster who did this worrying Spike'll remember and telll (and perhaps trying to stop him first), and finally the payback....oh yeah, tell the tale sister. You always manage to make Spike brought as low as imaginable yet never really weak or less than what/who he is at the core! Quite the challenge and you always come through.

::whimper:: Oh, what a heartbreaking, and yet heartening, scene. Makes me wonder if his captor (whoever he may be) was planning to at some poitn tire of his sport and send Spike out, just to watch Buffy dust him. Evil evil evil.

OMG poor Spike. I'm glad to see Buffy being all righteous on his behalf. I hope she does go all damage bound on the person who did this, but I can't help but think that she'll be just shocked and appalled to find out there was a human ensouled perpetrator. You know I never understood the OBVIOUS logic gaps in the souled/unsouled arguments on the show. It's always nice to see stories where Buffy's whole worldview is turned no it's head. Can't wait for the next update.
