Thank you for letting him see already it will be so much easier for them if he does. He's got a long way to go but this way it won't be as hard and now he can see the love in their eyes for him, even if he doesn't understand it right away he'll feel it in that huge heart of his. Wow! I'm so glad he has regained his sight. Maybe with food and rest he'll be able to regain other parts of himself. I'm sure they went a long way to the progress he had made. I felt so bad when Buffy instinctively yelled after he pulled her hair. He clearly needs the closeness and affection to help him feel at peace after so many months of torture and abuse

I'm waiting to see what Dawn says about Spike in Buffy's bed. My guess is that she'll see the empty couch and panic--running straight into Buffy's room and scaring everyone when Spike panics.

so well done! I LOVE your Buffy!! Even snapping at him when he pulled her hair - her surprise, confusion and the stress of what's gone on all just coming to a head. Then she stops it instantly, when she sees what she's done - regrets it. She is taking ownership of her actions, past and present, which she's never done before.
Wouldn't some Slayer-spiked blood help? I'm surprised she hasn't thought of that.

You are simly amazing with the speed of your updates. I usually wait until it is finished since I hate waiting. However this story just draws me back in daily. I am ecstatic that he can see. I just hope that Buffy really will keep her promise to make the a-hole who did this pay in blood and gore. It is also neat how buffy and anya are dealing with each other. I like that angle alot. I just wonder how long it will take for his captor to realize he is gone. Fantastic and can't wait for more!!
