So glad that Buffy knows about Angel now and just how much Spike that been helping her as well for these past years, so I doubt that they would call him for help, so must be Angel just butting in were he's not welcome anymore. Yes Giles was foolish but he can rectify that now. Spike's capacity to love and forgive is he's greatest strength. They are all fortunate for that. Another fantastic chapter, FMS, thanks.
The next few chapters and the series(there is another story in this series getting ready to start, btw. :) )hinge on how Buffy- and Spike, deals with Angel.

Even on the show Giles was blind to all he should have seen and noticed about Spike.
Nice update. Look forward to that talking to (and maybe an actual smack down of the big rat in time *G*).

As much as I like the drama I also like the lighter touch of laughter. Great Chapter

it's good to see spike laughing...dawn's friendship will be good for him in that way...his history is so very interesting to read about...looking forward to your next update :)
Laughter is very healing, and God knows they all need healing right now. I'm glad you like the backstory- I always wondered what made Spike tick. So, here's what I think does.

I'm glad Giles didn't hold anything back in his talk with Buffy, and I liked how Panya put his opinion into the mix.
The scene between Spike and Dawn was so refreshing, I love that Spike has laughter in his life again. Great chapter!

Holding back is what got them all into trouble to start with and Giles in in shock. His world is changing so fast...he's just talking it through. And, Spike and Dawn have both bonded in a way neither Slayer nor Watcher can touch. I thought I'd show that Spike's natural instict is to be tender- if we haven't already seen it before.
