Yup, you're right I total missed the meaning behind that. Maybe after tonight he won't be able to think of his anymore, since she's clearly not any longer. Great work.

Oooo not good methinks! Angelus is (as the Master once implied) the most evil and cruel of them all. Naturally I am counting you your fine writing skills to get Spike out of this one. The flashback was far too believable.

Don't worry- I'm working on it. But the fight sequence is very hard to write. I see it all in my head first, and all I keep thinking is."Oh, that looks like it hurts!" Guess that's why the flashbacks are believable, and as draining for me as they are for you to read. Hope you'll stick with me though. :)

Glad you called him Angelus and not Angel, because as we all have learned along the way it has most always been Angelus. So proud of Buffy for letting him know that she does love him and she is indeed "yesterday's girl". Only worried that he's strong enough, only started eating again two or three day's ago. This should be good. Surprised that Angelus hasn't smelled Buffy yet but if he's this upset then guess he's going on pure fury. Fantastic chapter, thanks.
Don't know if you caught it...but that "Other" vamp, the one playing "The Big Bad Wolf"...? He knows Buffy's in there- and that she's alive. He just *doesn't care*! To him she's property. Property that Spike stole. And, to his mind, Spike has to pay for that.

oh wow...i can feel the tension, getting nervous about the outcome of this fight...but spike has to do this, you're right...if he doesn't, angelus' control will always haunt him...another excellent update, looking forward to more :)

Huh!I guess it's bad Angelus.I wonder how he lost his soul.Is this set in season four of Angel or did he lose his soul another way?I've been wanting to see a story where Angel's dream in which he loses his soul in the fourth season of Angel was true, because I think that'd be cool.
Not following ATS canon. But if you must...:) Remember how grumpy Angel was after he was "Deep Sixed?" Pretty close to Angelus I'd say. That is, if you buy that Angel and Angelus are two different "people." Which, I do not.

OOOOh!!! It comes down to this! Oh, you have to update again right away! Has he fed enough for this? Is he healed enough? Buffy's right, Angel doesn't play fair, not when he's this mad, not when he's this close to Angelus.

Good questions, all. And, although the coven could dust Angel with just a thought...would they? Personaly, I never saw Angel as a good guy- not for a *second*. But that's just me, I guess...

Just wondering--won't Angel stop if he sees Buffy? Or is he going to be an a** about--oh, never mind, it's Angel. Yeah, he's going to make life miserable for as many people as he possibly can.

Yikes! Angelus on the loose is so not of the good. I loved how Giles and Buffy wanted to help out, but this is definitely Spike's fight. *bites nails* Can't wait to find out what happens next!!! Great chapter! :soon:
