Okay, can we please torture Xander now? I hope Buffy and Angel get back in time, especially since Angel had to practically beat her over the head with the facts. And evidently Giles is just as oblivious as Buffy is in spite of his dislike of Xander. I just hope Buffy doesn't try to restrain Angel. For once, I'm gonna cheer if he experiences an "Angelus" moment or two. You gotta admit the guy knows how to dish out the torture.

Wonderful chapter as always. Can hardly wait for an update. If Dawn wakes up and gets hurt protecting Spike, Buffy will add that to the list of things to punish Xander for. THAT should really be something amazing to read.

Way to go DOS. He almost killed two birds with one stone sending Buffy after Angel like that. I did enjoy Buffy's attack on him, both physically and through her verbal and facial expressions. He's never seen that much hatered towards him before, not even as Angelus, I'd bet on it but since he's here to help, I glad he did put his finger on Xander. We all know there's no love loss between them and he could see him doing it easier then Buffy very could. Now I hope they get thier asses over there in time. He's already petrified the poor vampire in those few seconds as it is. Great work, just loved it, thanks.

Gaaahhhhhh I just KNEW Xander would get some "quality" alone time with Spike!!!!! Soooooo happy that Buffy seems willing to at least look at the shore of the Nile even if she's not ready to swim for it. Really scared that Xander will grab Spike and make a run for it though. With Angel on the scent he'd be stupid to hang around that's for certain. Buffy might hesitate, but not Angel!

How "clever" (aka sly) of Xander to sic Buffy on Angel. Trying for two birds with one stone in hopes Buffy would go off half cocked (as she did) and stake Angel (as she tried). Sneaky B@stard!..

Oh the torture of it all! You really don't like Xander and I can't blame you. He really fooled the girls.

I so hope Buffy and ANgel get back to the house sson. Xander so deserves the beating he's going to get from BOTH of them. Very stupid to sent Buffy to Angel without being absolutely sure she would stake first and ask questions later. I swear I hope Dawn wakes up and something happens, I don't want Spike to be any more traumatized than he already is. And clearly just the thought that he might lose Buffy and Dawn is enough of a worry that he won't even tell them the truth.

Okay...I'm so mad, and creeped out, that my skin's crawling. And the third time, I hope, is the charm. "How stupid is Buffy?!!!"

That evil, sadistic, kniving, manipulative bastard! I've always hated Xander for his hypocritical ways, but you've made me hate him even more. There is darkness in all of the charaters, but you've managed to bring Xander's darkness to light in a way that neither the show nor any fic (that I've read) has done. I never liked how the show writers tried to portray Xander as completely clean and innocent after his early actions during the hyena (Xander WANTED to rape Buffy) and Acathla ("Kick his ass" lying bastard) incidents. Thank you ever so much for showing us what I knew was under Xander's surface all along.

Can I kill Xander? Can I, Can I, can I? ... And kick buffy while I'm at it?

Now that's a betrayal that's really going to hurt. I love the strong emotions and protective natures you've brought out in Buffy and Dawn.
Spike finally gets to be on the right end of the whole 'NOBODY messes with my boyfriend' thing.

I knew Angel will figure it out, he will not buy Xander's shit. Lets hope Buffy can come home before Xander hurts spike more and catches him on act!
