I didn't want this chapter to end.Spike and Angel CAN actually get along well,but they are just too stubborn to be...but this chapter was just like how I've hoped.it was beautiful and ý mean it

Powerful chapter. One of the best explorations of the sire/childe bond between Spike and Angel that I have ever read. Looks like this will go a long way to restoring Spike to his former self.

Another wonderful chapter! I really like Angel in this story, which was something that surprised me. I'm ready to see Xander get what he deserves though. Update soon please.

That was powerful, and it seems just what Spike needed. instinctually he seemed to know that Angel was important to him, even if he didn't understand how. And it was good that he could feel that sense of protection and family, from his vampire side, since it had been so neglected. I'm glad Angel was able to be what Spike needed him to be.

Angel finally did something right! I hope this helps Spikes healing also. I am really glad that you used an entire chapter to tell us how it went with Angel. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I firmly told myself to not read any fanfiction today since I have an exam (or is it called a mid-term?) tomorrow and am a bit stretched for time. But I couldn't resist a peek at the updates, my reaction: "ooh, DoS updated! Must Read, must read now!" ^^ I have no selfcontrol whatsoever when it comes to this story ^^

Hey DoS - Congratulations on the new niece!
The humans not teaching Spike about vampires was just too funny. It probably never even occurred to them. That avtually kind of shows how far Buffy has come - she just thinks of Spike as a *person* - one who happens to need blood, but a man nonetheless.
If this strengthens the bond between Angel and Spike, maybe it'll help if Xander should actually hurt Spike, because Angel isn't likely to ignore the cry for help again. He can follow it and get Spike out of trouble.
I can't remember if Buffy has told Angel about her plan yet - I'll have to go read again. I can't imagine he'd react well to it, though.

Wow! Angel is finally, actually useful. So now we have Buffy and Dawn teaching about generalities, love and trust. Giles teaching about things English, and Angel about things vampire. Why do I hope Anya's contribution is going to be lessons in vengeance?

Excellent chapter that made me actually like Angel more than at any point before. This is what a sire should be and he actually performed the role correctly! Lots of huffing and puffing over that word in fandom about the "confusion" over who Spike's sire is/was for no reason. The word itself means father but only in the one sense...it means ancestor (like Abraham is the father of the Jews and Muslims even though no one sends him a fathers day card!). Dru sired Spike but Angel made him the vampire he became by taking on the "father" role of teaching, etc. Okay, an abusive father that first time. You've given him the chance to be a good father this time.

Wow....wordy Kathleen again (sorry). Wonderful dynamic of trust and learning here. Spike will finally get to heal. LOL that no one thought to mention to Spike that he's a vampire. Says a lot about how they view him actually. They always did judge him by human standards and demand human behavior even before the soul.

Crap, guess I'm gonna have to skate home, cause hell just froze over--you made me cheer for Angel not once, but twice in one week! I am a little worried--next thing you know I'm gonna be thinking he's hot or something icky like that. Wait, no, not possible. This is so cool! (The story, not me liking Angel) Sire's blood is like up there with Slayer's blood in terms of mojo--I can't wait to see how restorative it turns out to be for Spike! And big-big congrats on your sister's baby!

Yes, while Buffy and Dawn have been feeding him with the nourishment his body uses, they haven't addressed what he *is*. Dawn just probably hasn't thought about it, in all her efforts to teach him language....but Buffy, well, she's probably had a secret hope that she could keep Spike very human, as it makes it easier on her. It's easier for Giles, too, if he can forget.

This falls back to that question of how much mental capacity the demon has on its own, or if it's more instinctual, going off feelings and desires. Obviously, it does twist the mind of the possessee when it becomes soulless.....ah, I'm heading into territory with no scientific explanation again... :D
