Chapter: Homecoming

excellent chapter and description of her emotional trauma  - I especially like how you handled the return of Giles and their reunion.  So much hope and yet such a failure - big emphasis on how everything is lost for her.

Good story - especially like the part where Buffy is crying in her room and reliving fighting her way out of her coffin.
Thank you! I always thought the early period when Buffy came back from heaven must have been really nightmarish for her, and I don't think we really saw much of it on screen.

Far more believable than the blank-faced pouting we saw on screen.

I like that you are letting us in on how Buffy must have felt, the despair and the emotions, the numbing of her heart. I really hope she gets the help she needs from spike without all that other stuff. I want Willow to realize what she did without all the ego but I can't have everything can I?
Don't worry... Willow will get her come-uppance. And then there shall be groveling. ;-)

You paint a very dismal portrait of the slayer. I feel for her but what she did to Spike in canon I can't accept. Hoping that yours fairs better for our fanged hero. Great work.

you write all the characters so very well, their voices are so true to the show, and you capture the emotions so very well...can't wait to see where you take this :)

Very intense Buffyiness. And, a welcome home party. What a bad idea. Looking forward to another fine Buffy Bash. And, Xander is a jerk. Excellent.

You've got the voice of despairing Buffy pretty well down.

So I wonder how Spike will help her.
Well... it's Spike, so probably good intentions, poor result...

Ohh, poor Buffy. This must be so bad for her.
Yeah... I felt like on the show we never really got a sense for how she feels. It seemed like "bitchy" was shorthand for "post-resurrection depression," but I think there's more to it than that.
