I like your alternative season 6; it's very believable. And I have to say that "Life Serial" is one of my all-time favorite episodes; this is a really nice take on that.

Really like the psychological depth. I think I would like to hear more from Spike about his thoughts on Cecily.
I always assumed (along with probably most people) that Spike didn't tell Buffy the same story we were watching in Fool For Love (because hello to the mocking... plus "I've always been bad") and I'd like to see the truth gradually come out, in little moments of honesty like this.
