Wow,interesting start with a nice story.Liked it.
But I didn't like William's father.He is mean.
William's father was like most "heads of family" in that time period.  A bit cold and harsh but well meaning.  Thank you.  k

wow....it's been so long since i've read something of yours, i'd forgotten how simply lovely your writing style is...beautiful and intense and almost poetic...
this chapter has caught my attention already and i am very eager to see where you take this fascinating tale, love :)
