Lovely! This was a very poignant, sad but hopeful story. Interesting choice for his sister with a Giles... I can see Drusilla doing something like this... both the lie, and the restoration of the memory. Dru has always been a favourite of mine... wounded and destroyed, but at the same time so devastatingly powerful.
I'm glad they gave him one last dream. He's going to need it. Hope they can find each other.

I love to play with detains about William's origins. My first stories were explorations of that. He is not far from the human he was and I enjoy looking into what aspects caused what behavior in Spike.

The whole chapter actually explains --or reasons-- lots of actions that happened during ssn 6.I loved it.Thank you for writing as beautiful as you do,and thanks again for fascinating me by your significant words.

such a wonderful and interesting story - love how you connect the three characters and their tragic circumstances but ultimate love between Buffy and Spike. The Neruda poem is perfect and I love how you bring the first part using Buffy's voice. It is perfect for both Buffy and Spike, but especially for Spike.

Wow, what a great story, I enjoyed every chapter! I love the promise that one day, they'll find something sweet together... please tell me there's a sequel in the works!! lol This is the first fic of yours I have read, but now I am desperate to read more of your work!! :) loved it
Don't know about a sequel but won't rule it out. I have a WIP to finish and then two sequels to other stories that I've promised. I just keep having these ideas that insist I write them. Thank you for reading and reviewing. Hope you enjoy other of my stories. k

and dru won't be stealing this dream from him :) that poetry was absolutely gorgeous, love, i've read it before but can't seem to remember where...it's so very lovely...wow...that was such an intense, lovely story...very beautifully done, love :)
Thank you. I always think of Spike and Spuffy with that poem and it seemed the right thing to tie it all up. I appreciate the positive comments. (On another site I got one review and they basically said they were completely confused and had read the first chapter 3 times, unable to make sense of it....glad it was clear to you!).
