Oh boy, I wonder if Spike's gonna get out of this one... and Angelus, I'm damn curious to know what he's going to do, especially when he finds out what the Scoobies are planning. I've got my fingers crossed that somehow, it all works out in Spike's favor, but somehow, it probably won't, or at least, from his perspective. Great chapter, and I love the Spike and (a decieved) Buffy interactions :D Give us more, please? :spuffy:

I laughed out loud at this chapter....brilliant! Spike trapped by his own lies by a knowing (clever, clever girl) Jenny!!!! Too funny. This scene is priceless.

Don't know how I feel about it....part of me wants Spike to get the soul put back in him (could be interesting getting it under these circumstances. Besides it might be as shifting as Angel's and he could get it loved out of him ony to actually want it...unlike Angelus). Another part wants him to get away before they can do the deed (but then he wouldn't have to physically BE there.....interesting conundrum).

Excellent all round. Great Dru voice. Worried a bit about what those stars have told her but trust she WON'T get her boy back. Angelus is in character as are the scoobies. Like seeing Giles interested in the concept of 2 souled vampires unlike on the show. He SHOULD have found Spike fascinating for having sought his on screen rather than just treating Spike with distain as he did.

Wouldn't it be a kick in the head if Spike had never lost his soul? Or retained some part of it, and Jenny realized that?

I'm still waiting in fear that you are going to pull the rug out from under us and make Spike super weak and wussy again, though.

Love it! Brilliant chapter. I couldn't stop laughing at Spike's panic-stricken attempts to come up with a way to avoid getting his own soul shoved back into him. Clever Jenny. I think Spike has met his match in the matching wits game he's been playing with the scoobies.

DOS - I just got caught up with your story - sorry I didn't get to review every chapter. Really love the premise; Dru and Angelus are excellent, although I'm pretty sure Angelus would be ready to smack her by this chapter. Looking forward, as always to more.
