We've gone off the angst-o-meter charts here! Parting is such sweet sorrow, indeed. A fitting sequel to "Demon Dreams".
Really enjoy how you can take the reader from weepy to amused by the snarkiness that is Spike in two seconds flat.
As always, I'm amazed at how much plot, feeling and character development you manage to put into a small number of chapters. Well done!

Thanks so much. I'm glad you enjoyed; I debated 'waking' Buffy up, but I like her as a vampire. She's all conflicted, and relying on Spike. I like that :) I'm so happy you liked my snarky Spike - that's how I love him! And thanks so much for your very kind and overwhelming comments. I'm very, very grateful.

What a way to end this. She'll be as jealous of her as Spike was of Angel. I hope you might write a one-shot one day and continue their adventure and if they do meet up with Dru. Will Buffy ever feed or will she have Spikes unlife turned up side down. Great way to end an evening, thanks for sharing this fun sequel.
*grins* I know - I'm evil :) I've had a couple - heck, I've had lots! - of requests for more about their adventures so I will write one, but probably not for a couple of months because I'm fully committed fic-wise. I'll post here when I'm done so I hope you look out for it. So very pleased you enjoyed and thanks for your kind reviews - that you take the time to write them makes me feel so honoured. Thank you.

So they head off into the sunset so to speak on a slow boat to China (or wherever)....romantic and nice.
I'd love a follow up after she learns to control herself (or the nightmare ends if that's the way it plays) but loved the story as is if you don't revisit.

Thanks Kathleen, I had great fun writing this story and I'm pleased you liked it. I did think it would end here, but as I posted I wondered if people would like a sequel dealing with some vampire shenanigans :) Supposed I'd better go and write.

Oooh, that was great!! I'm also hoping that there'll be a sequel of sorts because I'd love to see what adventures these two would have, especially after Spike answers that final question. *evil smirk* Loved this!!
I just had to have Buffy question him about Drusilla :) Thanks for reading and reviewing and I think there will be a sequel. As I was writing the final lines, it occurred to me there would be more to tell, but I thought I'd lay it out there first to see what people think. Why can't I ever write a one-shot? Thanks again.
