OMG!! I love this story, I had plans of reviewing your story earlier but I just had to keep reading. To add to that,I don't review often so enjoy :D
This story is one of the best I've ever read, the plot is great, the characters feel just so real, I can really feel their pain etc.
Evil cliffhanger there.. giles.. hmm don't know if I like him at all.

I see what you mean about the time line, but it makes a good tale. So Spike turned Giles father? Well, that's a twist. No wonder he's no love for him here, So Giles is a bad guy for our fav couple. It won't hurt just Buffy but Dawn as well. Yup, won't look at the table the same way again. Great work Gilly, thanks for sharing sweetie.
Hi Verda. As I said to you last night, Eowyn was SO right. I did think of pulling it down and re-writing it a bit, but that would not have been fair to the readers who had already reviewed. Hi honey, I promise there will be an update very soon. And it will be a doozy. If you follow my work, you will know that I prefer plot to smut, but you can't have Spike and not have smut :D. I promise that things will turn out better - you will just have to wait and see

the revelation about Giles' father was a great twist. Woulld be even better if it turned out to be false - Angel did it or something, and Giles has been blaming Spike all this time. Great story - glad to see an updte! :)

Hi DOS, my sweet. Giles is a real sod in this story, and will only get worse. As for Xander, don't even get me started on the whelp :D. Things will improve, but not right away. Gotta love the plot, I am all about the plot

I'm confused... did I miss something? The Last Encounter took place in season 5, according to the category it's in... and this is the sequel to that, right? So, why has Spike never met Anya and Tara? Both of those relationships started in season 4, when Spike was very much around. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, just really confused now as to when the story took place.
Oh my pet, you are so right about the timelines. *Holds hands up in defeat*. To be honest it wasn't until your review that I realised the mistake I had made. All I can do is ask everyone to suspend belief. I did think of pulling down the chapter and re-writing it a bit, but it's a bit late now. I'm sorry about it, but please don't hold it against me. I promise to make sure it doesn't happen again. And I don't think you are a jerk, I can only thank you for being honest. There is nothing worse than a 'good chapter' review - at least you read and take in what the author is trying to portray - and for that I really do thank you.

Hi Inzey, yep he wants to help Jansen because of his own prejudice. I am nasty, but I like to have some plot in my stories - I am evil for that type of thing hee hee. Next chapter very soon
