Excellent chapter..especially the dialogue. I like your reference to burial clothes. I crochet baby burial gowns and hospitals want volunteer knitters/crocheters to leave the back open for the reason you cited.
That was just one of those little quirks that caught my attention in the show and has been sitting in the back of my mind for a while now.

"Hotel California" program! It's a good thing I wasn't drinking anything when I read that! OMG, I laughed so hard, I snorted! That was priceless, and I thought the "Caesar..." comment was a hoot! I do feel bad for poor Tara. The scoobies have had a lot of years to get used to the violence of slaying. You are writing Giles to perfection, he still would be as devastated as Spike and Dawn. Very well done, a pleasure to read, thanks.

That's just one of those little issues that been nibbling at the back of my mind for a while. I'm sure the WB would have been put out if there had been numerous fledglings running around with their butts hanging out though. Oh well. Thanks for the review!

I was just thinking about this story this morning and hoping for an update soon.....it is compelling (and YES I do think of the good fic I am reading beyond the time when I am actively reading it!).
Lovely update. Poor Spike having to deal with the Bot of his own "making"...I felt sorry for him on the show too for that reason. Giles is pathetic as well...shell shocked.
