Clever William Pratt X, with a passport and a bank account and reinventing his place in time.

That's exactly right! Now if only he could curb the bloodlust ...

Willow just doesn't get it, obviously.

Through just a few mentions, you get a clear picture why Buffy and Owen didn't work out past the grief of losing their son. They were two people looking for the standard normal life picket fence happy, and it wasn't for them, or at least, not for Buffy. I'm actually amazed to find out that she settled down at all, with how she seemed to enjoy the photo travel.

And now Spike has a little records store - cool. LOL at the image of him walking around like that in daylight. And I love, of course, that he was a smart cookie with a nest egg.

Their connection is so neat.
Thanks so much! And yeah, I have a fun time picturing Spike out with a big ol' golf umbrella, too. :)

I really love this story!! I have checked here three times today, and I was actually talking to my husband on the phone when I saw this posted. I immediately told him I had to go and hung up!!! Loved it and am waiting for another!!
HA! Your poor, poor husband!

I've done the same thing to my guy, though. Somtimes Spuffy is just ... urgent. ;)

Thanks for your review.

So glad that you have started posting the third installment! I have been waiting patiently for it and my day was brightened when I signed on and found the story! The first two were great and I am quite sure that this one will be also, even if it is darker, because I actually prefer dark fics. Looking for to more!
Thanks, Serenity. I'm so glad you're enjoying.

Rich..but still has the desire to work. An old record shop.. low key probably good for a vampire. Somewhat gregarious.. unfortunate for some people.

Nothing said yet about his dining habits-wondering if he thought enough of the encounter to "bag it" for a while. Would make a difference to her.

Enjoying..Mr. Pratt

Much about his (tragic) dining habits coming up ... thanks for the review!

Way to pile on the, well, not exactly suspense, but anticipation at any rate. Interesting that Spike always seems to have a job of some sort - I can see that helping to amass wealth over long periods of time, in addition to compound interest. Plus I'd imagine his expenses are low.
Yeah - I've given it a lot of thought, and I think Spike would work out of boredom and his desire to connect, as much as a need for cash. But yeah, the cash helps, too.

Ah, so glad you are continuing this series - in spite of the warnings about darkness.
Thanks, slaymesoftly. Glad you're reading.

oh, my favorite couple, in my favorite town. What more could I ask for? Oh yeah, next chapter please?!
London is amazing, isn't it? I don't know it well, though, so you'll have to be sure to call me out if I just muff up the geography or something. Glad you're enjoying.
