And I'm really hoping to read a good punishment for Riley in the next chapters.
Yes, poor Tara had so many worries.  She was adorable!   Riley will be in the cold soon enough.  k

I just can't redeem Riley. For all his being painted as the "nice boy next door" he was a bigot. Just replace the "hostiles" with a human of a different race/religion/gender and you can see it as bigotry with no problem. He really thought he was in the right, just as many a bigot has done horrible things against others thinking it's the right thing. He started out that way and was that way to the end.
