Hey girl, I finally got over here to read and what a thrill to see them together and happy. Love the way Joyce is sticking up for her daughter and Spike. What a friend they have in Clem. He's been a great character for the series. Can't wait to see who it is, though it must be the council because how would Angel know anyway, he was in America when it happened. We know he and Spike aren't buddies and chit chat about things like that. Looks like two more chapters maybe now or more? Anyway, it's a great chapter and I love Spike and Buffy happy and together. Thanks babes, love ya. *squishes*

Thanks for the review babes, it really is appreciated. I like Joyce in this fic too. As a mother myself, I know that I would go all protective if Buffy were mine. Just wait to see what she will do.........

awwww, joyce is pretty amazing...and i feel some sympathy for giles, too, in spite of it all...wonder who convinced him spike killed his dad? most likely the council i'm thinking...great chapter, love :)

Wonderful healing and one helluva Joyce made a great chapter
don't you just love my version of Joyce. All said and done, she was a mother and all mothers want to protect their young, and I'm sure Joyce would have done everyhting she could to protect her daughters. If this meant that she wanted her daughter to mate with a creature of the night in order to protect her, then so be it. Her acceptance of Spike as Buffy's mate, IMHO, would have happened in the show had she lived. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read and review - you have so made my day
