Doing my commenting here as I remembered the strike on LJ. Not that upset over current issue and have commented here and there but want to be supportive so stopped myself....but on to IMPORTANT things like your lovely update!
I am guessing that Spike is planning a family jewel to replace the skull ring of engagement LOL. I always felt William WOULD have saved sentimental things of his human life. It would be out of character if he did not. I'd love it if the house were not just still there but available in some way....call ME sentimental.
I can just see him pointing things out while in the EYE and the other couples enjoying his knowledge. Good thing they aren't eating off the hoof because that ride would have been the perfect set up for lunch with a view! Shows they aren't a threat too (so there Council!).
You did a splendid job of describing their first tour...made it seem real to the armchair traveler. Thanks!
