Yes, it was hard for me to write. I'm currently working on a story that features Torch about the past, because I couldn't let the character go. : )

I think Torch pretty much proved you don't have to have a soul to be selfless. And Travers proved that even the ensouled can be petty and selfish.

Not Torch! I knew Travers resigning wouldn't be that easy, but I didn't know there would be casualties so soon :(
Other than the unfortunate death, I really enjoyed this chapter. Buffy and Spike's fun at the beginning was great, especially Spike not wanting to talk on the phone naked haha. It's nice to see them so comfortable and at ease with each other.

I'm sorry about Torch. I really liked him to, but I just had to write the story the way I saw it in my head.

I'm so sorry to see Torch die, I was growing fond of him and looking forward to hearing more about him. Poor Andra. Can't wait for the next update!
I'm sorry to see him gone, too. It was not easy to write. More coming very soon.

No!!! He killed Torch! Bad bad horrible nasty man (the other words of choice just aren't appropriate). Great update though.
Thank you. It was really hard to write Torch's death, but like you, I hate Travers even more than before.
