This has a cracking good plot and you're pacing it really well.  Some interesting character pairings - I'm delighted to see Clem has a new friend.  Did I mention that this has a great plot? I'm getting really bored with the endless sex scenes that some fanfic is composed of.  Hurry up with more please - this is my escape!

So.....was it the Initiative or Council doing the nasty experiments on vamps?  Either would do it in a heartbeat.  Nasty result all round.

Love the Slayers guarding the guards and glad they were.  Angel would have kept Buffy isolated if possible.

Too funny the varying expectations of the groups (and how in character that the fang gang would think Buffy would nearly swoon in the arms of the great poobah himself!  WHAT an ego!).  Love how Spike and Dawn know what Buffy's reaction really means.  Poor Spike needs that bit of reassurance too.

This is just fantastic.  Sorry for all the muse/computer issues (Know both well).  Well worth waiting for.

Aww, poor Dawn. They've all been on the run so much that there hasn't really been time to mourn for Giles, but Dawn gets a chance here. I've kind of been waiting for the moment when someone finally takes a time out and tries to process all the unbelievable shit that's been happening to them. I'm surprised they're not all crying. I would be... but maybe I'm a wuss.

LOL!! Great reaction. I, too, am glad Buffy didn't punch Spike in the nose, but now that they've seen each other, I'm itchy to see them actually talk... or fight... or whatever... lol.

Love that Min goes out for chocolate and pads. Even in an apocalypse, a girl's gotta have her necessities! And I'm thinking this encounter with Oz and Clem will lead to an awesome alliance.

One question - is one of the dates wrong in that first section? The header puts it in 1995, but the text later says the subject died in 2004. If you're looking for an emergency beta, I'd be happy to help out until your regular gets the computer issues sorted, or even just a once-over for the typos in this chapter. I forgot to mention .Dawn and Spike know Buffy very well to realize what the others don't .And I can only imagine who *cough*Angel*cough* gave them the ide that Buffy would jump into Angel's arms.

That first bit certainly sounds like the initative referring to the infected person as it so they can dehumanize her (?).
