even in canon, there was so much hope in that scene with them on opposite sides of the door. so much despair when, as here, she turns and walks away. very good read, thank you.
Oh yes! That scene was packed with emotion. We all acknowledge JM's ability to act rings around people without saying a word but SMG did a fine job of that too. This is a stand out scene in canon and I was so worried I couldn't do any justice to it at all. Glad you liked it. k
