I like the kinder, more compassionate version of Joyce. Although it helps that a lot of Buffy's "antisocial" behavior is explained by her being the Slayer.

I'm glad Joyce came to see Buffy and made up with her. Buffy needs her mother, and maybe William needs a mother too???

Joyce seems remarkably calm and accepting. That must have been a phenomenal talk with Giles. I wonder how William will respond to her, because i doubt Joyce will really wake her daughter if he has an episode. She's too much of a mom for that.

YAY Joyce! She will likely be a big help. The closest person to William was his mother. I always thought Joyce reminded him of her and that is one thing that he needs now. This will be a massive help to Buffy and to Spike. Maybe she'll get to "know" and dislike Angel too!

It's quite likely ;-) I always liked Joyce and wanted to show her being a bit more understanding about the whole Slayer thing. And of course, the whole soul thing. She'll definitely be a help to poor Spike. Thanks for reading!
